Gauchito Querido is an artistic research project materialized as a photobook. It documents a 1,133-kilometer pilgrimage along Argentina’s highways in search of Gauchito Gil, the country’s most revered folk saint. Through photography, writing, and editorial design, the project explores territory, memory, and the popular ways in which people believe, remember, and create meaning.
