Carlo Canún (Mexico City) graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with an MA in Graphic Design in 2023, where he received the Young Designer’s Award for his project “Infected Lexicon of Language.” In 2022, he organized the exhibition “El orden de los libros” at Aeromoto, and in 2023 published “Glory Holes,” a text on queer history in Mexico and the ephemeral ways in which it is archived. He also developed “Archivo de Realidades,” a research project on the construction of the real. He currently teaches in the BA program in Visual Communication at CENTRO University. His work explores forms of language and the construction of narratives, examining how knowledge is produced, organized, and circulated, with an emphasis on queer narratives that question and reconfigure conventional systems of representation and memory.
